MAHURAT FOR LAUNCHING MY NEW WEBSITE

My first article for this website will concern the timing event of its own 'birth'. Krushnaji did the muhurta or the most successful time to launch my new site in order to assure its maximum potential. The chart of a brand new website carries its own personality much like a person does when they are born. 

What is a Mahurat?

A Mahurat is the same as a Muhurta, which is a system of finding the most opportune time to launch an event or to start something brand new.

Choosing the Best Mahurat

The date selected was on the auspicious day of Raksha Bandhan as per the Hindu calendar, which fell on 9^th of August 2006.  This is also a full moon day, which is an optimal time to start any sort of project.

Since the 9^th August 2006 falls on Wednesday, certain Mahurat sectors of time during the day in question are to be avoided.

When looking for a Mahurat, we look for an ideal time, calculated for a location, which spans from sunrise to sunset.

The total time between sunrise and sunset = 14 hours 15 minutes

We then divide this span of time into 8 sectors, so 14:15 divided by 8 = 1 hour and 46 minutes.

Now being that August 9^th, 2006 falls on a Wednesday, we are to avoid the 3^rd, 5^th and 6^th sectors.

The first choice would then be to get the lagna during one of the good sectors to match my natal lagna which is Gemini. However in the possible time frames available during this day, Gemini does not rise.

So the next step would be to select the 3^rd house or the 11^th house, then the 6^th or the 10^th house. So, I chose the Leo lagna which would be my 3^rd house rising.

Leo lagna rises from 6:53:40 to 9:29:58 on this day in the 1^st sector.

Now the next step was fixing the proper navamsa.  Here my choice was Gemini navamsa rising within Leo lagna because Gemini matches my natal lagna.

Gemini navamsa starts from 7:29 AM thru 7:45 AM which is also in the 1^st sector and is GOOD.

So any time within that period would’ve been good to launch my website.
